Ada Michaels-Mason
Ada Michaels-Mason (born 6 January 2000) is a Polish-British-American actress whose career is rooted in a lifelong passion for performance, storytelling and the creative arts.
Her early accolades include winning the Young Upcoming Actress of the Year Award in 2018. Known for her versatility across action blockbusters and high-end dramatic biopics, she gained widespread critical acclaim for her breakthrough portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in the biographical film With Love, Marilyn (2025), which was submitted to both the Cannes Film Festival and the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs). Her screen work includes prominent roles in major studio productions, including The Beekeeper alongside Jason Statham (2023), Take Cover (2024), Alien: Romulus (2024), and Adam Sandler's Netflix production Roommates (2026).
Born in Barlinek, Poland, Ada was raised between Birmingham, England and New York, USA, surrounded from an early age by the performing and creative arts. Her mother was a professional dancer who competed at European national level, inspiring Ada to enter the world of dance herself. At just six years old, Ada placed second at the European Nationals in both contemporary and jazz, beginning a relationship with performance that would continue throughout her childhood and into her professional career.
Creativity also runs deeply through her family. Her aunt, Milita Nikanorov, is an acclaimed Polish fashion designer and the winner of the first season of Project Runway Poland. Growing up around fashion, Ada began walking runways from a young age, developing an early understanding of fashion, performance and visual storytelling. This creative upbringing would later lead to campaigns for global luxury houses including Prada, Lancôme, Valentino and Jimmy Choo.
Although performance had always been part of her life, Ada discovered that acting was her true calling during high school. Having attended creative arts schools throughout her education, she immersed herself in musical theatre, songwriting, music and storytelling, while continuing to develop her skills as a performer. She appeared in numerous productions, including a Banksy tribute, Little Shop of Horrors and Horror Night, before taking on leading roles in Grease as Sandy and Beauty and the Beast as Belle.
Ada later attended college in Stratford-upon-Avon to study music. It was during this period that she realised her strongest connection was not simply to performing, but to storytelling through film and the art of acting. She subsequently pursued formal acting training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) in Los Angeles, completing her programmes in 2024.
Alongside acting, Ada is a screenwriter with a particular interest in romance and thriller storytelling. Writing has been a constant throughout her life; from creating her own stories and books as a child to developing original screen work today, she remains drawn to the process of building characters and worlds from the ground up.
Her background in dance, music, fashion and writing continues to inform her approach to acting. She remains an active dancer, refining her skills in contemporary, jazz and tap, and continues to sing and write music as creative pursuits alongside her acting career.
For Ada, acting is ultimately about one thing: telling stories that make people feel something.
